Today is Free Shipping Day! I blogged about it a few days ago but today is the day.
All orders placed today get free shipping. In stock items (in my store they’re marked Ready to Ship) will ship out tomorrow and will arrive by Christmas! Anything customized will still go out free and I will do my best to get them out asap.
You will need to use the coupon code FreeShipping at checkout to get the free shipping, but hurry. The code is only valid today!
Want to see what I’ve been working on lately? Click on any of the images to take you to that product’s page. . .
These rings aren’t marked ready to ship – but I have everything to make them and they will ship out right away too!
Have you ever heard of Free Shipping Day? It’s Friday, December 17th, and there are over a thousand merchants offering free shipping in time for Christmas. Hope of My Heart Designs is one of the merchants.
ALL orders placed Friday will get free shipping, with in-stock designs arriving in time for Christmas on US orders. Customized designs do take longer to process, but there is a LOT of other jewelry in stock already that is ready to ship.
I will definitely be busy this week listing it all. I’ve been adding more as I’ve gotten time, but there is a lot more made up that just hasn’t been listed yet.
Head over to FreeShippingDay.com for more details!
I’m having an After Thanksgiving Sale (it started Black Friday but it goes through Monday) at my store. It’s been fun so far! Here’s what’s on sale (clicking the pictures will take you to that section of the store):
Don’t wait long – the sale ends on Monday!
Lately I’ve been doing some research trying to find a local craft show to get a booth in. Our county mommies group is putting a craft fair together this year, and I was able to get in it. I’m excited.
Shortly after I found out about the show, someone on Freecycle gave me a large box of velvet jewelry displays. What a blessing!
That same day, another person posted a huge lot of beads on Freecycle. It turns out their house was just a few minutes from mine, and it was several thousand beads – that I already use. It was so amazing to just sit back and see how God was providing already.
Now I have the fun job of making enough jewelry to fill the displays. I have no idea what to expect, since it’s the first year of this craft fair and it’s my first time selling jewelry face-to-face. But you have to start somewhere, right?
I’m excited. If you’re local to me and would like more details about the fair, feel free to send me an email. I’d love to see you there.
We have a winner for the necklace giveaway!
It was so fun to read what everyone’s favorite piece of jewelry was. Many ladies wrote that their favorite piece of jewelry was their wedding band, and I definitely understand why. My wedding band is one of my favorite pieces as well.
The winner, chosen via random.org:
#20 is Karen. She says:
My favorite piece of jewelry is a mother’s bracelet that my dh bought for me a couple of years ago. It has three strands of silver and colored beads. Each of my girls names are in silver blocks – one per strand. I love it!
Can’t wait to make your necklace and get it out to you!
If anyone is interested in buying a pendant for themselves, you can get it at my store – Hope of My Heart Designs.
Do you love birthstone jewelry? Have you been thinking of getting something for yourself, but just haven’t gotten around to doing so yet? Do you have someone on your gift list who would like a birthstone pendant? If so, look no further. I’m having a giveaway!
I’m giving away one Mama’s Darlings Sterling Silver Birthstone Pendant. The Mama’s Darlings sterling silver mother’s birthstone pendant is a beautiful heart-shaped necklace pendant for a mother to showcase each of her children’s birthstones. A solid sterling silver open heart pendant holds up to six genuine Swarovski crystal birthstones. The pendant is about an inch and a half long. I’ll also be sending a sterling chain with it – you’ll just need to let me know if you prefer 16 inch or 18 inch.
To enter, just leave a comment telling me about your favorite piece of jewelry. For an additional entry, write a post about this giveaway on your own blog. Then come back here and leave me another comment.
I’ll close comments after midnight Sunday, and will choose a winner via Random.org. I’ll post the winner here on Monday morning.
If you don’t win, or would just like to buy a pendant for yourself, you can get one at my online store Hope of My Heart Designs.
I need your opinions, please. I’m considering giving jewelry parties, but my biggest hangup is I’m not overly comfortable being in front of people. I’ve been to Tupperware and other parties like that, but never a jewelry party. Are they pretty similar?
I’m not sure I have the guts to do it, but it would be a great way to get my business name out there. The thought of making up a bunch of designs ahead of time sounds like FUN too – I usually make things as people order them instead of keeping a lot of things made up.
Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, advice, etc. for me?
