Honey Butter

Honey butter is the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table, and it’s really easy to make!

Cream one stick of softened butter in a stand mixer. You want to use real butter for this; margarine will not work the same.

Add 1/4 cup honey to your mixer. We love to use raw, local honey from an area beekeeper. It has a stronger flavor than storebought honey typically does.

Beat the honey and butter on a low speed until mixed together. Increase speed to whip the honey butter into a smooth spread.

Enjoy.

This honey butter is especially delicious when served with fresh, warm bread.

Since we have a large family, I rarely make this recipe with a single stick of butter. I usually double (and sometimes triple) it so we can enjoy it for more than a single day.
