This week our church is having revival services. We’re very rural and there aren’t restaurants in our town, so we always cook for the visiting preacher and his family.
Monday – roast beef, potatoes, carrots
Tuesday – tacos and chocolate chip cookies
Wednesday – chili, cornbread, and brownies
Thursday – lasagna soup
Friday – homemade pizza
Saturday – fried chicken, mashed potatoes, lemon angel pie (birthday dinner)
Sunday – chicken Alfredo, pasta, broccoli
The meals without veggies listed we’ll just decide then which veggie to eat from the freezer.
Breakfasts are eggs, toast, muffins, oatmeal, biscuits, grits, or pancakes. The kids make their own breakfasts so they generally eat whatever is in the house or what they feel like making.
Lunches are sandwiches, wraps, macaroni and cheese, leftovers, etc.
Snacks are cheese, baby carrots, nuts, fresh fruit, smoothies, etc.
