Last summer I found some t-shirts at the thrift store, thinking they’d fit me well. They were slightly too big, so I put them away.
One day I was cleaning out my closet and found the t-shirts again. Instead of donating them, I decided to remake them using the Ellie and Mac Fall in Love Sweater pattern. I cut along the side seams to open the shirt while preserving the neckline. Then I recut the front and back along the Fall in Love pattern lines.
For the sleeves, I used some double brushed poly from Olga’s Closet that was left over from making Joy’s Christmas dress (photos to come later).
The result is one of my most comfortable shirts. It went together really easily since I didn’t need to redo the neckline or the bottom hem.
