Today’s a special day – it’s my Arrival Day. I know some people call it Gotcha Day, but my parents always just called it Arrival Day. For those who don’t know, I’m adopted. My parents adopted me when I was five months old, and January 17th is the day I was placed in their arms. Every year, they would do something special with me to celebrate the day. Even now that I’m an adult, Mom still sends a card every year.
Here’s our menu for the week:
Sunday: roast, mashed potatoes, white gravy, broccoli
Monday: sesame chicken, brown rice
Tuesday: crockpot chicken taco stew
Wednesday: baked rigatoni
Thursday: ham slices, sweet potatoes
Friday: pizza night
Saturday: hot dogs, fries
The meals without veggies listed we’ll just decide then which veggie to eat from the freezer.
Breakfasts are eggs, scones, oatmeal, biscuits, grits, smoothies, and pancakes.
Lunches are sandwiches, wraps, macaroni and cheese, tuna salad, leftovers, etc.
Snacks are cheese, baby carrots, nuts, fresh fruit, smoothies, etc.

That’s funny I remembered it so wrong. I’m sorry! Hope you like it as well as we do!
I love beans! Sara doesn’t like beans neither does Allison. The corn i don’t think i would like. I’m going to have to try it.
Stephanie, here’s a link to the recipe: http://www.fruitofherhands.com/2008/04/05/crockpot-taco-chicken-soupstew/
I usually just cook a bag of beans for it first (whatever’s in the house), and then add the tomatoes, taco seasoning, and chicken. We don’t really add the corn any more, but it is good.
But you don’t really like the beans though, right?
How do you make the crockpot chicken taco stew? Thats sounds good. The pizza that you make are so yummmmmmy!
