  1. Hi Melody!

This is my first visit to your site. I came for Menu Plan Monday. I don’t have any on my site yet, but I’m working up to it. I just started my first try at menu making and shopping today! Yay me! LOL

I also see that you’re Christian. I read your skirt page, and it makes a lot of sense. I would like to work towards doing that myself. I’m not sure about something, though. My 11 year old girl wears mostly skirts, just because she likes them, and wears shorts or leggings under them. She does that for warmth or modesty or both. I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on that. 🙂

I’m pretty new to being a Christian. I was only Baptized about 5 years ago. I want to truly be a good Christian wife and mom, but there’s a lot to learn, and I have a way to go yet. I appreciate that there are ladies out there that talk about things you do, and beliefs you have, because it helps me, and others, I’m sure. It seems kind of funny saying that, since I’m pretty sure I’m older than you. LOL But I’m sure there have been plenty of new Christians that are even older than me. 🙂

Anyhoo, it’s nice to meet you, and I hope to get to know you better!

    1. Shannon – I’m so glad you stopped by!

There are a lot of modesty things I’m still trying to figure out myself. It was one thing when I was the only girl in the family – but now that I have a very active daughter it’s been a challenge to figure out what fits within Biblical guidelines while staying modest.
