Once again we’re enjoying a lot of produce from our garden. I don’t list it every day here because it varies some depending on how much we’ve canned or frozen.

Sunday – chicken and dumplings, fresh green beans

Monday – beef tacos and wheat tortillas (hoping to make a triple batch for lunches later)

Tuesday – crockpot chicken, garden veggies

Wednesday – meatballs, sweet potato fries

Thursday – beef stroganoff

Friday – homemade pizza

Saturday lunch – vegetable egg cups (like mini quiche in muffin tins)

Saturday supper – whole wheat stromboli (working on a new recipe for the bread portion)

Breakfasts – grits, regular oatmeal, baked oatmeal, overnight oats, and/or eggs

Lunches – leftovers, salads, tuna, or wraps

Sides – fresh veggies

  1. Kim, you’re welcome. Thanks for stopping by!
Heather, those sound good. I’d love to try one!
Stephanie, it was at 7:30. I’ve not been doing so great getting dinner on earlier. That grill pack does sound good! We have a few recipes in some of our books for pickled eggs, but we’ve never tried any of them. Stephen wants to, but the thought of them turns my stomach. Guess I’m just a little bit chicken. . .ha ha. . .

  2. What time is dinner? lol Sounds good I miss not having our garden this year. Green bell peppers, onions, tomatoes in a grill pack ohh my. Do you have a recipe on how to make pickled eggs? I would like to try to do that.

  3. I don’t think it’s your recipe. I think I’m not a “bread person”, from yeast anyways. I’ve tried before and failed. I found a recipe for calzones I thought I might try. I think the bread recipe may be a little different from yours maybe. We’ll see what happens.

  4. Your menu looks really good! I keep meaning to try making my own tortillas because I can’t find whole wheat ones here. Thanks for the recipe =)

  5. Heather, that’s strange. I probably need to go back over the recipe and see what I can do to make it clearer. Hmmm.

  6. i have still yet to perfect the stromboli recipe. my D rools his eyes when he sees me trying to make it. Its okay but nothing to get excited over
