Wow – last week was crazy! My parents called on Friday night to tell me they’d be in on Saturday. Just a tiny bit earlier than the Wednesday they’d been planning on. :O) It was great to have them here. We only see them 3-4 times a year so it’s always a treat. They thoroughly spoiled the boys and then left on Thursday.
Thursday night Stephen and I drove an hour and a half to go hear our former pastor preach at a revival meeting. That too was wonderful.
On Friday Stephen’s sister arrived in town for a family member’s graduation. We spent time with her Friday night. Then on Saturday, she and her two kids, Stephen’s mom, and the boys and I all piled into the van to go up to the farm to visit Stephen’s grandparents. That was a riot with all seven of us in the van. Four carseats made it a bit cramped, lol! When we came back to the house Dad made homemade ice cream (three freezers full!) and everyone ate way too much sugar. We came home to finish getting ready for church the next day.
So now I’m trying to unwind after that crazy week. Hopefully things won’t be THAT nuts again for a while! My schedule will stay busy though. This week I’m adding two more piano students (a huge praise!) and our church youth choir practice. Thankfully I was able to move my Monday student to Tuesday so my students aren’t so spread out. It frees up Mondays but Thursdays now have something. . .but that’s ok.
So. . .it looks like things are going to be busy for a while, but hopefully they won’t be crazy!
